 享有“全球华人第一男中音”美誉的廖昌永将携手德国著名钢琴家哈特穆特•霍尔(Hartmut Höll) 开启2024澳新巡演。此次巡演由上海音乐学院和澳丰文化集团主办,将以独唱音乐会的形式在11月为悉尼、墨尔本和奥克兰三地观众带来十余首中国古典诗词艺术歌曲。 用当代音乐诠释中国千古名诗,呈现诗词、书画与音乐极致融合的视听盛宴。

 

廖昌永现任上海音乐学院院长、上海音乐家协会主席、中国音乐家协会副主席,是享誉国内外的知名表演艺术家,曾在多项国内外声乐比赛中获得佳绩,摘得“第41届图鲁兹国际声乐比赛”、“多明戈世界歌剧大赛”、“挪威宋雅王后国际声乐大赛”三项国际知名声乐赛事桂冠,创造了中国歌唱家在世界顶级赛事中连续夺冠的奇迹。多年来廖昌永的演出足迹遍及世界各地,曾先后与多明戈、卡雷拉斯、露丝安•斯文森、洛林•马泽尔、李心草等许多世界大师及十几个世界著名交响乐团合作演出了数十部中外经典歌剧及千余场音乐会。但来大洋洲举办音乐会还属首次,因此对于澳新观众来说,这次巡演机会十分珍贵。

 

哈特穆特•霍尔(Hartmut Höll)是德国著名钢琴艺术家,德国卡尔斯鲁厄音乐大学校长。曾与世界多国顶级歌唱家同台演出,与众多知名音乐人录制的合作唱片斩获多项国际大奖,多次受邀担任国际顶尖音乐赛事评委或评委会主席。

 

廖昌永与霍尔此前有过多次合作,两人合编的《玫瑰三愿:中国艺术歌曲16首》在2021年由全球最古老音乐出版社——德国大熊(Breitkopf & Härtel)出版社出版发行。这是中国古诗词谱曲的艺术歌曲首次以中、德、英三种语言的形式,在中国以外的地区出版。而在此次2024澳新巡演中,廖昌永带来的正是这16首歌曲,让中国艺术歌曲的精品之作,首次唱响南半球。

 

这些曲目的歌词均来自于中国古代的著名诗歌与文学作品,由近现代著名作曲家谱曲,加上廖昌永的深情献唱,可以说是名词名曲名家共同演绎的珍贵之作。《玫瑰三愿》《春思曲》《点绛唇》《踏雪寻梅》出自著名作曲家黄自先生之手,其中创作于1932年淞沪之战停战之后的《玫瑰三愿》被誉为中国艺术歌曲中的瑰宝,将中国古诗词的声韵特点与德奥艺术歌曲旋律相融合, 可谓曲小而韵美。中国现代音乐先驱青主作曲的《大江东去》是中国艺术歌曲的开山之作,歌词来自于北宋豪放派诗人苏轼的代表作《念奴娇·赤壁怀古》,廖昌永将通过深厚唱功完美再现其舒展潇洒的曲调和雄浑磅礴的气势。同样出自青主之手的《我住长江头》也是中国近代艺术歌曲中的珍品,曾荣膺“20世纪华人音乐经典”曲目,旋律绵长,饱含深情。

 

刘雪庵作曲的《红豆词》取自于中国经典名著《红楼梦》,是贾宝玉所唱小曲的歌词,抒情婉转的节奏与平和伤感的氛围交相呼应,似吟似诵间传递出含蓄的情感。陈田鹤的《春归何处》和黎英海的《枫桥夜泊》分别展现了春秋两季的独特韵味。廖昌永将通过情绪的递进和细腻的唱法,使听众不仅能感受到诗词本身的美,更能体验到诗中那种绵延悠长的情感。古曲《阳关三叠》源自“诗佛”王维的诗歌,曲调婉转悠扬,历来为人们所传唱。在廖昌永声情交融的演绎下,古朴而悠远的意境和情深意长的曲调将这首古曲传递的情感提升到新的高度。

 

除此之外,还有当代著名作曲家陆在易创作的《水调歌头•明月几时有》、 赵季平的《双调•新水令》《幽兰操》 、徐沛东的 《忆秦娥 •恒山月》 、周易的《钗头凤》、苏越的《月满西楼》等创新之作,题材涵盖爱情、怀旧、自然等,风格从婉约到豪放,极具表现力和感染力。中国知名书画大家特地为音乐会歌曲而创作的书法、绘画作品也会汇集成书画展,在音乐厅同步展出。

 

廖昌永艺术歌曲独唱音乐会此前不仅在中国多地举办,场场爆满,一票难求,也曾多次在海外进行演出,收获观众的热烈反响以及中外媒体的广泛报道 。2019年,廖昌永以“中国古典诗词与书画”为名,将中国艺术歌曲唱到了“音乐之都”维也纳。2023年7月,享誉欧洲与世界的十大夏季顶尖音乐节之一的芬兰萨翁林纳音乐节上,开展了“‘廖昌永与哈特穆特霍尔教授’中国艺术歌曲音乐会”。进入2024年,上海音乐学院为“中国艺术歌曲系列音乐会”特别设置了海外巡演项目:6月,廖昌永将应邀赴德国汉堡易北爱乐大厅音乐厅,举办中欧艺术歌曲音乐会;7月,廖昌永与霍尔再度应邀,将参加芬兰萨翁琳纳音乐节。11月,将开启此次大洋洲的三地巡演。

 

已诞生超过百年的中国艺术歌曲,是西方作曲技法与中国诗词相结合的产物,用一首首小诗,唱出一个个内涵深刻的故事,具有很强的文学性与艺术性。廖昌永独唱音乐会不仅是一场听觉的盛宴,更是一场视觉和心灵的多重享受。在这场诗、书、画、乐间的对话中,澳新听众将对中国古典诗词的韵味与书画艺术的深邃内涵有着更深刻的理解,再次感受到中国传统文化的瑰丽与壮美。

On November 10, 2024, Liao Changyong, President of the Shanghai Conservatory of Music and renowned as the " China's No.1 baritone" will embark on his inaugural concert tour of Australia and New Zealand. Accompanied by the celebrated German pianist Hartmut Höll, Liao will present a series of solo concerts featuring Chinese classical poetry and art songs to audiences in Sydney, Melbourne, and Auckland. This concert will reinterpret ancient Chinese poems with contemporary music, offering a rich audio-visual experience that integrates poetry, calligraphy, painting, and music.

 

Liao Changyong, the most distinguished baritone singer in modern China, an internationally renowned opera performer and a vocal music educationist,  has won a number of awards in major domestic and international vocal competitions: top prize in the 41st French International Toulouse Singing Competition, Placido Domingo International Operalia Competition and the Norwegian Queen Songja International Music Competition, creating the miracle of a Chinese singer winning consecutively in the world’s top level competitions.

 

He has performed in a number of operas and concerts in cooperation with master musicians such as Plácido Domingo, Sergi Giménez Carreras, Ruth Ann Swansm, Lorin Maazel, Michel Plasson, Yu Long, Lü Jia, and dozens of the world’s top orchestras. Together, they have brought to life dozens of classic operas and performed in over a thousand concerts, both Chinese and international. Despite his extensive experience, this marks Liao's first concert tour in Australian and New Zealand which is a unique opportunity for Australian and New Zealand audiences to experience exquisite music and witness the supreme skill and artistry of Liao Changyong.


At the concert, Liao Changyong will perform Chinese classical poetry and art songs from various periods, including famous Three Wishes of a Rose, Spring Nostalgia, Red Love Beans and so on. These songs all come from classic Chinese poems that have been circulated for thousands of years and are known for their expressiveness and emotional impact.


Additionally, the concert will feature a calligraphy and painting exhibition showcasing works created by prominent Chinese calligraphers and painters specifically for the songs performed. These artworks will be displayed in the concert hall, enhancing the overall experience.


Not only an auditory feast but also a visual and spiritual delight. Through this interplay of poetry, calligraphy, painting and music, audiences in Australia and New Zealand will gain a deeper appreciation of Chinese classical poetry and the profound artistry of calligraphy and painting. They will also have the opportunity to experience the grandeur and richness of traditional Chinese culture.
